Adaptogenic Kombucha

  • 1 cup of black tea
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of probiotic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ashwagandha extract
  • 2 teaspoons of ginger root
  • 1/4 teaspoon of licorice root powder
  • 1/4 cup of jasmine flowers
  • 2 Litres of water


  1. Boil 2 liters of water in a large pot
  2. Add the black tea leaves, sugar, probiotic powder, ashwagandha extract, ginger root, licorice root powder, jasmine flowers and stir everything together.
  3. Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 30 minutes then remove from heat.
  4. Strain mixture and transfer it to a large jar.
  5. Leave the mixture to cool down.
  6. When the mixture is cooled down, add the kombucha scoby and cover it with a cloth and secure with a rubber band.
  7. Let the mixture ferment for about a week and a half.
  8. When the kombucha is ready, strain it and store it in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
  9. Enjoy your adaptogenic kombucha!

Adaptogenic Golden Milk

  • 2 cups of almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ashwagandha extract
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)


  1. Heat the almond milk in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat until it reaches a simmer.
  2. Once the almond milk has reached a simmer, add in the turmeric, cinnamon, ground cardamom, ground black pepper and ashwagandha extract.
  3. Stir the mixture and allow it to simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and add in the honey (optional).
  5. Strain the mixture and transfer it to a mug.
  6. Enjoy your golden milk adaptogenic drink!
